The food was absolutely amazing! Way more than we could eat.. We just so happend to stop here on our way from Texas to Tennessee.. the service was awesome and super fast.. we got the fish Platter and Onion rings.. and WOW! 10 pieces of fish.. and probably a dozen onion Rings that were cooked to perfection!
We stopped here heading east from New Orleans, the location is right off the interstate and easy to get in and out of. The people and food here are great! If you're looking for traditional Southern seafood this is the place.
This is a truly superb rustic seafood restaurant. The selection is enormous and incredibly fresh. The prices were very reasonable and the quantities are generous. We try to stop here every time we pass through on I-10. It is extremely convenient: it's genuinely one of the best seafood experiences you'll ever have, as long as your main focus is not ambience.
Excellent food. I wanted catfish and the basket with a side of Mac and cheese was delicious. The gumbo was also good but could have been hotter. The eggplant Sicilian with crab cakes and shrimp on angel hair pasta was really tasty. For dessert we had bread pudding which was good but we should have asked for some vanilla ice cream to go with it. Our waitress was super attentive and efficient. We really appreciated her service. Totally recommend this restaurant.
The food is absolutely delicious and the price is a little much but the portions are rather large. The restaurant is a little dated but it's family owned and the walls tell stories. Definitely worth a visit! I had the crab sauce shrimp pasta and the hubby had the seafood platter.. we also ordered crab balls and a side of the most delicious hush puppies. We will be going back.
I was so surprised to find this gem on our way to Florida. The food was great and the staff were super nice. I will definitely go there again whenever we’re traveling to Florida. My son enjoyed the crab and I loved the shrimp platter.
To start we have 6 kids (two of them twins 3 months old) so to say we had our hands full is an understatement. The waitresses was very helpful even with the kids. And word spread fast about the twins n kids and everyone there come by to see them and admire the twins. The food from shrimp, fries, onion rings, and everything was beyond amazing. I would drive 100 miles just to eat here. Truly a great place, atmosphere, and food. The service was fantastic
Food was good! Great service, all around okay. Crab sauce was alittle bland but still a nice touch to the food. Oysters, good... but really the best food item was the fish and also the service was really friendly this meal was 120.00 pictured.
